“How to Save Your Own Seeds”

A great garden activity to do with students could be to collect and store seeds from the garden for the next planting season. This handbook has all you need to know to get out in the garden and inspire students by exploring the power of the seed and the starting point of all of our produce.

“Every Seed Tells a Tale”

This book brings us back through time to hear fascinating stories of the heritage of our plants and our food. "Our indigenous peoples, pioneers, immigrants, and others from our past are brought to life in these pages". This book would be great to explore with any class in the garden, but especially history and social studies classes.
