Announcing the 2023 Volunteer Award Winners
Each year, we acknowledge an outstanding Nourish volunteer who has contributed their time and energy to advancing the work of Nourish through the Golden Carrot Award. New this year, we have also created an award to recognize a volunteer who has had a significant impact on our work even though they are newer to Nourish: the Green Sprout Award!
This year’s Golden Carrot Award winner (left of photo) has been with the organization for more than half a decade. Through her time with us, she has displayed outstanding leadership, loyalty, and commitment to Nourish. She brightens every room with her energy and enthusiasm, and always help to create a welcoming and inclusive environment for new volunteers. She has shown time and time again how passionate she is about our mission to nourish children and youth.

Maria Wilson!
This year, there was one volunteer who stood out for their incredible dedication to Nourish. She was nominated for the Green Sprout Award not once, but THREE times! This individual is a great communicator, enthusiastic, insightful, and always fully present at every meeting she attends. Throughout her time at Nourish, she has been a member on various teams and committees, and is always willing to give her time and talents to make great things happen for Nourish.
