What drew you to get involved with Nourish?

My journey to working with Nourish has some deep roots. I worked as a camp counsellor for almost a decade and through that work I was able to see, first-hand, how important it is for kids to have access to proper nutrition in all aspects of their lives. This position allows me to combine that early experience with my passion for story-telling and connecting with people.

What is your favourite part of being involved with Nourish?

Even though I’ve only been with Nourish for a very short time, it’s been inspiring to see the passion that everyone brings to the work. In just the few conversations I’ve had with some of our folks who interact with our community members and partners directly, it’s clear that everyone at Nourish has a desire to improve access to healthy foods and to help kids achieve their fullest potential.

What is your favourite vegetable and why?

I have a difficult time choosing favourites when it comes to food, but one of my top veggies has to be the zucchini! Any vegetable that you can also use in baking has my vote.
